Point-No-Point Resort is a
unique retreat that is located about fifty miles north of Victoria
on Vancouver Island's West Coast. The West Coast is on the Juan
de Fuca Strait, and is a rugged and surprisingly remote region.
Looking across the strait you can see glimpses of Olympic National
Park in Washington.
The the property was purchased
by a woman right after World War II. She first lived in a former
WW II observation tower, but later built a home and several cabins.
Point-No-Point has more than 40 acres of forest, trails and ocean
front. It is near the coastal road, but the cabins are uniquely
tucked into a cliff overlooking the Strait which gives a feeling
of wilderness and solitude.

There are many places to stop
and view the ocean or just relax.

The beach at Point-No-Point
is rugged and fascinating. At low tide the tidal pools are filled
with crabs, sea urchins, star fish and more! We found more life
here than any other place along the coast.

There are kitchens in the
cabins, but there is a restaurant, too...

They serve great food at reasonable
prices...

Point-No-Point is a place
of peace and quiet. No phones, no TV, no internet...bring a book

Authors note: We spend last summer
in Iceland. We loved the beauty and ruggedness of that remote island.
However, for a relaxing vacation, Vancouver Island is hard to match.
We hope to return next year.
