The Science Olympiad team recenlty attended the regional competition at Niles West HIgh School.
The team competed in a variety of science related events involving airplanes, bridges and rockets, to name a few.
The team had prepared for the competition for several months.
Their efforts paid off because the team finished in fifth place. This finish qualified the team to compete in the State Finals in Springfield on April 6, 2002
