Student Leader
Mystery Trip
|
|
On
Monday, May 24, twenty-five student leaders were invited to
attend a special field trip to recognize them for
outstanding service to school and communitiy. Students in
this select group have completed between sixty and two
hundred hours of service. The group had collectively
volunteered more than 2500 hours of service!
To make the trip more fun, the details of the trip were a
secret. Teachers attending this trip were Mr. Postle, Mr.
Olson and Ms. Cook's student teacher, Ms. Carins.
The trip started at 7:30 AM and ended at 4:00
PM.

Our trip
traveled via a cool coach with complete TV's. We watched the
classic musical Singing in the Rain while we traveled
from stop to stop.

Our first
stop was Navy Pier. We took time to look at the fabulous
sculptures that are on exhibit. We also hiked from one end
of the pier to the other.

No trip
to downtown would be complete without a trip to Water Tower
Place and a little shopping!
It was a
great day for all!
