Warm Fuzzy Day
OOJH & Niles North students created warm fuzzies in preparation for
Snowflake 2002 which will be April 6th this year.
Warm fuzzies have been a Snowflake tradition since 1989.
At Snowflake students will pull out a piece of yarn and give it to another participant along with a compliment.
Mr. Olson's secret process involves wrapping yarn about a piece of wood. Students are able to make eight fuzzies at a time.
The process is pretty easy to learn and it is fun!
In about three hours these volunteers used 150 skeins of yarn and made more than 500 fuzzies!
Thanks to all the volunteers!
