Every year, in preparation for Snowflake, students gather at school on a Saturday afternoon to make "warm fuzzies." The warm fuzzy is an important symbol of Snowflake and every participant and leader has one. That means we had to make over 400 fuzzies. |

After the first year of Snowflake, Mr. Olson conceived a way to mass produce fuzzies and the process is repeated each year. Above, Mr. Postle, reveals the mystery of fuzzy making. |

Eight necklaces are then cut. The next process has been, until now, a secret. Necklaces are attached to the yarn with cable ties. The cable ties are spaced exactly 4" apart on each side of the board. |

The next step is to cut the yarn at 4" intevals, exactly between the cable ties. The result is eight warm fuzzies. |
