The Oracle 7 Team at Old Orchard Junior High kicked off their annual Generations Interdisciplinary Project by traveling to the Bahai Senior Center, Manor Care, Great Opportunities and the North Shore Retirement Center to interview residents. Students used questions developed in Social Studies classes. In Science classes students discussed changes that occur as you age. In Language Arts students will read stories that focus on the relationship between young people and older people. Additional projects are planned for the rest of the year. |
